Amen Par Ankh is a mission to provide solutions to the cycles of arrested development in Spiritual, Health, and economic imbalances manifested as violence, food deserts, redlining, organized crime, economic disenfranchisement, and Education inequalities.
We opened the Amen Par Ankh, a Natural Life Center, and Amen Ankh Akademy, an Urban CommuniverCity on the east side of Kansas City; in the home of the Francis and Clarence Hill family, one of the first African American Entrepreneur families to break the redline of segregation, after "white flight" by JC Nichols. They Owned and Operated, with their son, a Football Champion of Central High School, Reginald Hill, a storefront Strip Mall on Troost Ave., as a Travel Agency and the First African American owned full-fledged Postal office. Established the annual "Troost Alive Festivals." In Tribute, their home on Bales Ave., became a neighborhood safe-house, next to a vacant lot, for growing local foods, known as Amen Par Ankh, a green sanctuary with an Independent Library, ASCAC, Google Fiber Internet, study space, for Scholars, writers, poets, with classes for urban gardeners, crafters, Artists, musicians, and anyone who wanted to buy Heirloom Non-GMO Cabbage, Kale, Rosemary, Sage, Popcorn, Green Beans, Zucchini squash, Pumpkin or Green Tomato.
My Father, Robert Lawrence Walker, retired from the Air Force, and I graduated from college, and settled in Missouri, as an Exceptional Education teacher. I was profoundly affected, as i witnessed the use of drugs on our children, to control mood and behavior, in contrast to the poor quality of nutrition that was unavailable. I was strongly influenced by the Black Panther Food and the do-for-self community development programs they initiated. The Panthers also encouraged African American professionals to "Live in the Hood" instead of "abandoning the ghetto," to recirculate Black Economics, to enrich the neighborhoods, be a role model, and galvanize re-community for African Descendant families.
In 1990-92, I grew my own foods in a backyard garden for my family and used some of the Mulberries to tie-dye fabrics for arts and crafts that I sold, establishing Adenike's Arts. I later reached for a Master's in Education for Special Education, Gifted and Talented. I later became a part of the rise of the Afrikan Centered Education initiatives in Kansas City and was very disappointed with the destruction of the African Centered Institutions by Ignorant political attacks and failures for this thriving initiative. I left the school district, and by the invitation of a parent who wished to home-school her child, I was inspired by Marva Collins, to establish Amen Par Ankh and an Urban Farm initiative to grow local healthy foods for our youth and families.
Amen Par Ankh is now a ministry-without-walls. We are a Not not-for-profit corporation. I am presently available for Spiritual Consultations, Libations, Kemet Weddings, Cultural Edutainment Workshops on Recycling, Environment, STEAM Education, Urban Agriculture, Afrikan Centered Homeschooling, Tutoring, and Afrikan Centered lectures. I create Healing Ankh Amulets and currently working with grief counseling, making Grief Dolls for mothers who have suffered the loss of their children. I am a Teacher, Priestess, Minister, Life coach, blogger and respected public speaker and educator who has conducted several workshops at various organizations, served as a panelist, and as a keynote speaker at regional meetings. I received a name that reflects my Destiny. Nuta Beqsu means (Heaven gives me balance) My name is derived from our ancient KMT language that is still in practice today and taught by Sistar Rkhti Amen.
Nu, Nut, are Elemental powers of the Heavens: Nu is the primordial Waters and Moisture. Nut is the Celestial Sky-goddess. She represents the cosmos and the universe. The Universe is always giving birth to new solar systems and stars. Ta is the original word for land, place, manifestation and Queendoms of our ancient Matriarchal societies. Our land is our home, and the place for the empirical existence where we learn and form our experiences. Nuta reminds me to seek peace and balance between the planetary and heavenly existences. We are all connected to the land, trees, microcosm and macrocosm, Inner verse and Yoniverse. Nuta Beqsu (heaven gives me balance) is my program into conscious spirit, to produce thought sequences to direct a course of action as a way to achieve success and usefulness in life. Visualization is thought converted into a pleasurable visual image(s) to achieve a goal and/or purpose. We connect with Divine Power to guide and direct our pathways. As a divine name is spoken the receiver has unity of direction in life. My name reflects my Destiny. So, the sight Sound, vision, smells and colors associated with a divine name will give guidance in my pathway of life.

Under the Guidance of My Ancestors and elders, I AM The Spiritual SBa, Messenger, Medicine Wombman and shaman.
My Maternal Grandmother and great-grandmother before she knew & practiced the Medicine Ways of Our Natchez Ancestors, from Herbal Medicine, Oral History/Stories/Legends/Myths, and Ceremonial Spiritual Magic/Medicine. Some Openly, some Privately. They were impaths. Yet, My Great Mother's Medicine was influenced by the Invaders' Christian religious beliefs due to her Husband being converted & becoming a Pastor and founder of a Church. Our Ancestors went Undercover as shamans, Chiefs, and Elders to become Pastors, Bishops, Deacons, etc. Our Holy, Medicine Women became Healers, Nurses, Doulas, Prophets, Teachers, etc. She came from Natchez, and my Maternal Grandfather was a descendant of Ancient Wa-Tusis. We were never enslaved! We came to the Americas on our own as ancient peoples. We are the Ab-Original people of the planet. My Ancestors teach that there once was a time when the earth was one continent. That is what we call Turtle Island.
Also, there were Freedmen (Free Indians & Free Blacks listed in the Dawes rolls as Mulatto, Free Persons of Color). My Bloodline Ancestry consists of Mound Building Mississippian Culture Aboriginal (Indigenous Autochthonous) Melanin Rich Persons of the Americas/TurtleIsland of the Ancient Tamoanchan/Xi/Shi/Olmec/Aztex who mixed with some of the Gullah Geechee from Alkebulan, who mixed with Various American Indian Tribes. "Native Americans" are a Nation NOT a race.
My Ancestors stayed with their Ancestral Land as Farmers. Agriculture, Preserving Fruits and vegetables, Making Syrups, Tinctures, Liniments, and Oils, for Medicinal Purposes & more. My Granny had Ancient Elderberry Trees, Peach Trees, Mulberry, and Black berries on her Land and she took Pride in making Elderberry Medicinals and wine. She was also famous & loved for her Specific Medicinals, Preserves, Cooking, Impath healing, Wisdom(Reader/Seer/Oracle), Oral History, Stories, Spirituality, Traditions of Ancients, and more. She lived to be 96yrs. She and other Ancestors are My Guides from the Spiritual Realm, I Salute and appreciate them...
My Maternal family owned their Own Farming Land that Produced, Veggies, Fruit, Livestock etc... they were Descendants of (Choctaw, Creole, REDBONES etc), a Mix of Louisiana Tribes Farming Culture. We also have roots in Ancient Mexico, Central & South America, Descendants of Aztec, Toltec, Maya, Olmec Xi Tamoanchan) Red Bone Bloodline is a mix of South-Eastern DarkSkinned Indian Nations, Saponi also Mulungeons (Roma Gypsy, Hindu, Mediterranean mix).
